The VISION Clinic![]() The Cheyenne VISION Clinic, P.C. was established in 1973 to provide the best in state of the art VISION care to the residents of Cheyenne Wyoming and the surrounding communities. We are committed in offering the best in diagnostic and treatment technologies in the country. Our purpose is to increase your quality of life through VISION care so that you see for your lifetime. Our practice is a professional corporation of doctors of optometry trained in Comprehensive Optometry to diagnose, treat and manage conditions and diseases of the eye. Treatments include eyeglasses, LASER care, contact lenses, perisurgical care, vision therapy and medications. We see patients of all ages. We strive to make ourselves available to patients after hours by offering 24 HOUR EMERGENCY CARE when you need us the most for eye injuries, eye infections or sudden loss of vision. Our doctors recommend that you CALL US FIRST before seeking care from the emergency room, outpatient clinics, or general physicians. He is a graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Wyoming. His professional training occurred at the Southern California College of Optometry, where he graduated With Distinction. He completed a residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital before joining the clinic in 1991. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and served as President of the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Optometric Association. He also serves on the board of Needs Inc. of Cheyenne. Dr. Wells is certified in Wyoming, and Colorado. When not working, he enjoys bowhunting, waterfowl hunting and spending time with his wife, Gina. Dr. Josh LaHiffDr Josh LaHiff is a partner at the Cheyenne Vision Clinic. Dr LaHiff recently graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry. Josh was born and raised in Cheyenne. He attended Central High School and the University of Wyoming. His areas of concentration are contact lenses, medical eyecare and vision therapy. Josh's wife Corrina is a teacher at Sunrise Elementary School. They enjoy sports and traveling. Dr. Martin "Marty" Carroll, F.A.A.O.![]() Dr. Carroll is a Wyoming native and graduate of Cheyenne East High School. He obtained his Associates Degree from Laramie County Community College, a BS with Honors from the University of Wyoming, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Carroll has practiced here since 1981. He is a member of the Wyoming Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the American College of Optometric Physicians. He has hospital privileges at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Dr. Carroll is certified in Wyoming, Colorado, and California. He has served on several non-profit boards in Cheyenne and was past president of the Frontier Lions Club, the Cheyenne Jaycees, and the Wyoming Optometric Association. Recently he was named to the Cheyenne East High School Hall of Fame and also he was featured in the Laramie County Community College Talon Magazine. Dr. Carroll loves sports and is an avid golfer. He is married to Claudia and has two daughters Jennifer and Lauren. Dr Carroll's passion is to treat and educate patients with eye, vision and body conditions! Dr. Harve Thompson-Retired![]() Dr. Harve Thompson was raised in Kansas and attended Kansas State University. He holds two degrees from Illinois College of Optometry. Following graduation, he served as an optometrist in the US Army. He has practiced in Cheyenne since 1973. He is a member of the Wyoming Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He is certified in Wyoming and Colorado. He enjoys sports, running and family. Dr. Thompson is married and has three boys. He is now retired from the clinic but still sees patients in the absence of Drs. Wells and Carroll. Dr. Josh LaHiff has joined our staff to allow the clinic to operate as a three doctor practice. Nancy DugganNancy has been at the clinic for 14 years and is our office coordinator. She is married to Tom and they have two children, Brandon and Brittany. Gail Barkee ABOCGayle is an ABO certified optician. Gayle is married and enjoys motorcycles. Kelly CampbellKelly Campbell joined the clinic two years ago as a technician. She came to us from Virginia. Kelly loves her dogs. Sydney BuyneySydney is a technician at the clinic. She is married and has one daughter. |
