Dr. Marty CarrollOptometrist
Martin Carroll, O.D. is a Wyoming native and graduate of Cheyenne East High School. He obtained his Associate’s Degree from Laramie County Community College, a BS with Honors from the University of Wyoming, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Carroll has practiced here since 1981. He is a member of the Wyoming Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. He has hospital privileges at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Dr. Carroll is licensed in Wyoming, Colorado, and California.
Mark Wells, O.D. spent his early childhood in Florida before moving to Cheyenne at the age of 6. He is a graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Wyoming. His professional training occurred at the Southern California College of Optometry, where he graduated with distinction. He completed a residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital before joining the clinic in 1991. Mark is Board Certified by the American Board of Optomerty.
Josh LaHiff, O.D. was born and raised in Cheyenne. Dr. LaHiff is a partner at the Cheyenne Vision Clinic. Dr. LaHiff graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. LaHiff is a Wyoming licensed optometrist with full accreditation and is DEA certified to prescribe oral and topical medications to treat eye diseases and infections. Dr. LaHiff’s areas of concentration are contact lenses, medical eye care, and dry eye management for patients. Josh is Board Certified by the American Board of Optomerty.
Jessica Albers, O.D. completed her undergraduate studies at Central College in Pella, Iowa. She then graduated Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She completed an externship during her 4th professional year of optometry school at the Cheyenne Vision Clinic. Dr. Albers also completed externships in, Connecticut, Illinois, and Missouri. Dr. Tiffany Silver, born and raised in Cheyenne, graduated Cum Laude from Colorado State University with a degree in Biomedical Science. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors. While in school she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She completed rotations at Ehrling Bergquist Clinic at Offutt Air Force Base, and an intensive ocular disease rotation at BridgeBuilders Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX.
Joseph Munsell O.D. is Wyoming native and was born and raised in Casper. He received his BS degree with honors at the University of Wyoming and his doctorate of optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr Munsell is a Wyoming licensed optometrist with full accreditation and is DEA certified to prescribe oral and topical medications to treat eye diseases and infections. His area of interest is in ocular disease and contact lenses. During school he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and was named student of the year by the Greater Western Council of Optometry in 2016. Dr. Munsell is a proud member of the Cheyenne Rotary Club and serves on the policy council for Project Head Start. In his free time he enjoys staying active with a variety of sports, traveling the world, and good books.
Laura Bowitz Optometrist
Laura Bowitz, O.D. was born and raised in Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate education in biology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Bowitz’s areas of interest include pediatric optometry and treatment of binocular vision disorders such as strabismus. She has training in the areas of vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation and is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the Optometric Extension Program Foundation. During her final year of optometry school, Dr. Bowitz completed clinical externships at Northwest Eye Care Professionals, Pacific University Pediatric/Vision Therapy Clinic, Mayo Clinic Health Systems and Cheyenne Vision Clinic. Dr. Bowitz is a Wyoming licensed optometrist with full accreditation and is DEA certified to prescribe oral and topical medications to treat eye diseases and infections. Outside of the office, Dr. Bowitz enjoys reading, baking, hiking and playing tennis.
Garrett Howell, O.D. grew up in Riverton Wyoming; Dr. Howell studied at the University of Wyoming where he maintained Dean’s Honor Roll standing while providing for his family. His professional training was completed with Cum Laude honors at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and included rotations at the Columbus Ohio Veterans Hospital as well as participation in patient care at Cataract and LASIK surgery centers. Kirsten Klauss Reynolds, OD was born, raised and lived in a Midwest suburb of St. Louis until she and her husband decided to relocate to Laramie, Wyoming. They discovered Laramie and fell in love with the wonderful outdoor opportunities, the vibrant downtown, the great college, and above all– the friendly people. Dr. Reynolds and her husband are excited to become a part of the Laramie community and all that it has to offer.
